Joseph Stewart born 1883

Hi All,
I am trying to find out the names of parents for Joseph Stewart, born 16th June 1883, and born in the Dromore registration area.According to his marriage certificate, his fathers name was James, and he was a labourer.

I have tried without success to find out birth index info so that I can order his brith certificate, but have not been able to find access to the birth index!

Any help would be most gratefully receieved, many thanks.

This looks like the most likely match:-

Joseph Stewart; Banbridge district (Dromore may be sub-district?); 1883 Q3 (maybe not registered until the beginning of July); Vol 1; pg 163.

You can use this information to order a birth certificate from GRONI in Belfast (ignore the other spaces on the form if you don't know the answers - as long as you include the above).
