Oh, so a clothing assistant in a store?  At first I thought he was a clothing Dept Head in a Drapers Store?  Silly me!

Hmmm......so France's mother, Martha Northwood, appears to have had James, Ann and Frances, quite late on in life, and no sign of a husband/father in Shropshire!

Wonder if she had a previous family and husband, at possibly at Churchstoke, Shropshire, where her daughter, Ann, was born?

This address(1861), where they are living with boarders, in Shropshire, is that the Churchstoke address, or is it another one?
