Hi

Her father was John Quigg her mother Nancy Hutchison I think.  I know they had a James, William Mary Anne have their birthdays but they also have Thomas Wray and a Charles can’t find there births. Mary Jane died in Glasgow 1915 son Charles was on certificate son Thomas was my mother-in-law’s ggrand father.  Any help would be appreciated
Regards Janice

Three children of Charles and Mary Jane are listed in IGI (surname Hutchinson/Hutchison)- James (1865 Articlave district), Mary Anne (1869), William (1875).
Hutchinson/Hutchison is a very common surname in Articlave/Dunboe area so you probably need to search church records (if they exist).
Index to civil registration is online (free) and there are lots of Thomas Hutchinsons and a few Charles Hutchinsons in Coleraine registration district. Possible death for Charles Hutchinson in 1897 gives his birthdate as c1897.

Janice,
Checking in Emerald Ancestors I found William and Mary Anne. I also found JOSEPH, born on 17 Dec 1871 making him William's twin. No sign of the others but my source only covers 1864-1874 and probably does not cover everyone.

He is with a James 5 nov 1865 and Mary Anne 18 sep 1869 that you found Aghadowey but no Thomas or Charles. Must try and find out when they came to scotland ???

Any idea what religion the Quiggs were? Do you mean they lived at Cullycapple or that you think the baptism took place at Cullycapple?

The baptismal record is Roman Catholic shows 22/11/1843 Cullycapple, Coleraine (I don't know if that was the address of the church or her home address) shows father John Quig (one g) mother Rosie McIvor, sponsers Patrick Quig and Catherine Boyle the Rev Terence McGowan shown in notes.
I know Eliza went Londonderry to Quebec on 8th May 1868 and married Andrew Gillen 9th June 1868 in Basilique Notre Dame Ottawa, he was also from Londonderry. They had 1 child Martha Ann who was baptised 18th Dec 1870 in Basilique Notre Dame Ottawa.Their second child John is shown born 14th March 1873 in Cullycapple and baptised Roman Catholic on 15th March 1873 in Lassamore, Coleraine, sponsor's Daniel Quig and Susan Tendin and  Rev J McCready in notes.I pick up the trail again in Glasgow with birth of Rosetta 7th Dec 1877 in Anderton subsequently had at least 3 other children all spending the rest of their days in the same area of Glasgow. Eliza Jane died 21st March 1916 aged 73 years. Andrew and Eliza Jane Gillen are my great grandparents
Many thanks

Problem here is that the present R.C. Chapel is in the townland of Cullycapple (unfortuantely I have to go to a friend's funeral there tomorrow morning) but was not built until 1890s. The earlier Chapel was not far away in the townland of Mullahinch (but also know as Bovagh Chapel- Bovagh is just across river from Mullahinch) but fell into disrepair and for quite a few years Dick Toye's barn was used until the 'new' (present) chapel was built.

Nothing is every easy is it.
I got the records from Irish Family History Foundation at 5 euros a time!
On John Gillen's RC baptism record the address is Lissamore, Coleraine I have searched the web with a negative result. Could it be a transcription mistake?
Maybe I have to try and view the origional records?
Would you think there would be a resource showing where catholic priests were working in the area.
Great to have contact with someone who knows the area
Many thanks
