Thanks for your PM.

I've now checked the early electoral rolls for Wellington, and I'm afraid I could find no mention at all of "Edward BARKER".

It seems very possible that they only stayed in Wellington for a short time before going on to Australia ?

The "Henrietta Sophia Catherine BARKER" name (back in reply # 16) I found on the R/Chat Australian board in the Resources section, under South Australia listings.

Sorry ... I can't recall now exactly what the link was ... but the name came up under "a cemetery search".

There was also a "hit" for Edward Thomas BARKER" - but I guess you already have that ?

Yes thankyou I have them.  I actually got them last week as well as Edward Barker who died in Millicent SA not Wellington NZ as previously thought.
