Hi
I had just wondered if you knew of any other siblings, that we could follow to find more on parents?
There is a Sophia Barker at Bolton Cem wellington
and some Edward's south island, but they probably belong to Canterbury/OTago lot

I am a Barker follower, but mine are top waikato north.

Hi Althea

Mmm ... yes, I'd checked the Wellington City Council cemeteries database ... and this Sophia BARKER does not appear there under Bolton Street cemetery listings.   [I never quite trust the information from the Friends of Bolton Street Cemetery, website  ... there appears to be a lot of errors.   ;)]

It would seem though, the "Sophia Barker died 1918" is more likely to be ... Sophia BARBER - d. 1918 aged 81 years. ?
[Name BARBER mistranscribed as Barker ? ]

Lu
