John Knights siblings are, Sarah Kitteringham Hall KNight born 1805, James Knight 1808-1891, Robert Grigg Knight 1810 1882, Jane Knight 1814-1892, Fanny Knight 1818- 1905.

Mary Knight married my 2x great grandmother's brother Jonathan Dowdeswell in Honiton in 1836 from memory.
I am Australian, from all the lands I come (my ancestors, at least!)

Pine/Pyne, Dowdeswell, Kempster, Sando/Sandoe/Sandow, Nancarrow, Hounslow, Youatt, Richardson, Jarmyn, Oxlade, Coad, Kelsey, Crampton, Lindner, Pittaway, and too many others to name.
Devon, Dorset, Gloucs, Cornwall, Warwickshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Wilts, Germany, Sweden, and of course London, to name a few.

Do you have a date of birth for your Mary Knight?

I don't have her exact date in front of me, but from memory she was born around 1812.

MARY Knight christened 26 Nov 1780 Honiton on Otter to ROBERT/MARY

Marriage;

30 November 1777, Honiton On Otter, Devon

Your Argenton/Mary name a Daug Rhoda Mary Hall Darke 28 August 1808

So looks to me that she is named after their Mothers.
