Westwood here is the Nivens that might match your list in Kirkoswald.

Erected by Robert and John Hazle in memory of Alexander Hazle d. 21 feb 1743 aged 33 yrs, Also William Hazle d 10 April 1760 aged 93 yrs. Here lyes ........ Hazle in ....... 13 Jan 1736. His Wife Jean Niven d. 04 Oct 1763 aged 61. 

I have some John Niven 1778, 1822, jean niven 1847. I also checked Girvan and Maybole but nothing in them.

The only ones i can find in Kirkoswald is this,

Thanks for the information; I havent been able to get as far back as the 1700s yet but am on track to do so.

Could you please let me have details of the 1778, 1822 and 1847 MIs you have.

I'm interested in Kirkoswald cemetery as I think some of my ancestors could be there.  Their surnames were Gibson, Kelly and also Tait.  I'd be grateful for any info

Here goes. Grave 405 and 406 are right next to  each other and 423 and 424 are right beside each other... sometimes means they are related somehow.

Erected by John Niven in Ballochniel in memory of Robert Niven his father d. 07 Oct 1799 aged 86 yrs. Also Margaret Ross his mother d. 28 Apr 1793 aged 78 yrs. The Said John Niven d 31 Oct 1822 aged 68 yrs and Jean Rodger his wife d. Mahaar Kirkcolm 17 Jan 1847 aged 83 yrs.

Erected to the memory of Hugh Kelly d Littleton 4 Aug 1875 aged 36 yrs. Blessed are the dead which die in the lord from henceforth Amen.

Erected by John Kelly in memory of his wife Agnes Skilling Speirs d. 3 March 1873 aged 63 yrs. The said John Kelly d Trowier Girvan 7 May 1886 aged 79 yrs. Also his son James d 6 March 1910 aged 59 yrs.

I memorian Matthew McMaster son of Alexander McMaster d Girvan 25 May 1876 aged 63 yrs. Mary Tait his wife d Girvan 29 may 1875 aged 632 yrs Erected by their seven sons. Their eldest son John McMaster J.P for Kent b Kirkoswlad 1841. D. Canterury 1931 interred here.
James McMaster M/B and C.M (edinburgh) fourth son of Matthew McMaster and Mary Tait d. Castlefor Yourshire 22 Dec 1892 aged 44 yrs. Revd.  And all the other sons are listed here aswell if you want these give me a shout as a good few.
