No McIlwraith in Maybole cemetery.

Kirkoswald:
Erected by James Davidson maidens in memory of his son John d.13 Oct 1824 aged 3 y. Also his wife Catherine McILwraith d. 8 May 1855 aged 67 years. The said James Davidon d. 05 May 1864 aged 86y.
Also his daughter Rossinna d. 31 Dec 1845 aged 30 yrs. Also his daughter Catherine d.12 May 1883 aged 66y. Also his son James. d. 20 Dec 1890 aged 77 years.

In Memory of William Gray, d. 10 Dec 1838 aged 66yrs. Also his daughter Janet d. 14 Oct 1839 aged 24 years. And Janet Campbell his wife d. 27 Aug 1859 aged 72 yrs. Also their Grand-daughter Jane Gray McILwraith d. aged 2 yrs 7 months. Also their duaghter Catherine Gray d. Aur 04 March 1912 aged 81 yrs.
Erected by John Gray farmer in Glenhead in memory of David Gray his father d. 01 June 1770. Also three of John Gray's children.

Girvan:

Erected by William Gordon in memory of his wife Mary McIlwraith d. Chapeldonan 9 Feb 1893 aged 73 yrs. Also Elizabeth Gordon beloved wife of Robert McNAay d. Troon 6 March 1895 aged 37 yrs. Also the above William Gordon d. Dunymuck 2. Jan 1902 aged 85 yrs. Also their grandosn William Gordon son of Adam Gordon d. 7 Sept 1907 aged 20 yrs. Also his son Adam Gordon d. 4 Feb 1934 aged 77 yrs. Also Jane Watson wife of above Adam Gordon d. 29 Feb 1944 aged 80 yrs.

Erected by Margaret McILwraith in loving memory of her dear husaband Thoms Greenless McCreadie d. 09 June 1956 aged 85 yrs. The above Margaret McILWraith d. 18 Nov 1957 aged 75 yrs. Also their son James McCreadie. d. 10 Jul 1990 aged 86 yrs.
Thomas Lyones beloved husband of Jane McCreadie d. 26 Aug 1990 aged 84 yrs. Also his beloved wife Jane MCcreadie d. 2 ASug 1993 aged 85 yrs.


In affectionate remembrance of Helen McIlwraith beloved wife of William Hunter d. Davidson Hospital 16 Jun 1949 aged 23 yrs. Also her mother Margaret MCILwriath d. 19 Dec 1941 afed 42 yrs.

In loving memory of our dear sister Susan Moran McILWriath d. 24 Feb 1945 aged 43 yrs. Also her sister Mary Boyle McILwraith d. 21 March 1986 aged 87 yrs. Sadly missed.

Would you please consult your documentation and attempt to locate the burial location of John McCREADIE (d. 02 Aug 1879, onboard No. 1 tug boat, Ayr Harbour). His family were Margaret (NELSON) and children Jane, Isabella and John.

His grandfather and my g-g-g-grandfather were brothers.

In Girvan... Dont know if these are related (slightly different spelling) but some died at sea.

Stone in 3 pieces.. Alexander McCredie in memory of his mother Ann McCelland d. 20 April 1887 aged 90years. His sones Matthew d. 04 May 1860 aged 4 mon. Matthew d. 31 May 1878 aged 3 yrs 10 months. John d. Monte Video 18 Apr 188(8)? for year aged 31 years. His father John McCredie d. 20 Jun 1888 aged 83 yrs. His son Thomas d. at sea 30 Jan 1894 aged 30 yrs. His wife Janet McMurchie d. 23 Dec 1898 aged 65 yrs. His son Archibald McCreide d. Capetwon 21 Nov 1901 aged 40yrs. Teh above Alexander McCreide d. Davaar Girvan 17 Oct 1913 aged 78 yrs.

There is a previous comment with a Jane McCreadie.. check back on some posts

None in Kirkoswald..
A  few McCreadie in Maybole but not by the those names.
