First of all, than you for all your hard work. Is there any chance that McCrindles were laid to rest in Kirkoswald. For example - William, Matthew, Mary, John, Janet or any other McCrindles.
While I'm asking, how about any Love family members.
Thanks again.

Tom

Hi ambyrne1

If it is not too much trouble could you check to see if there is any mention on your lists of a couple of people who would have been buried in a cemetery in Girvan.

The first is John McKee {his surname may be a variant, such as 'McKie'}. He died aged around 77 on April 27th 1855 at Wilson Street, Girvan. His statutory death record states that he was buried in 'Girvan Churchyard'. The second person is John's wife, Janet McKee, who died between 1841 and 1851.

I would be very grateful for any help you could give me.
Best wishes,
Brendan

Hi,

I am researching the Burns family(unrelated to the famous Robert Burns), who lived in Maybole and Kirkoswald, during the 1800's.  I would be very grateful if you could check if there are any Burns's inscriptions between 1830-1900.

Thank you so much.
