Thank you, hallmark.

I suspect the Rosetown for my Barrington ancestors is the one nearest Naas. They may have lived in or near both locations at one time. In fact, I have changed my Subject line to: William and Loveda Alcock Family, Naas and/or Rosetown

All the best with your research.

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has any more information on Loveda Alcock's family?  I have been researching my husband's tree, and his gg-grandmother was an Alcock.  I believe that she was a sister of Loveda.  Ethelinda  b.21 AUG 1803 • Rosetown, Kildare, Ireland,  d.21 AUG 1887 • 10 Edwin St, Newton, Auckland, New Zealand.  She married Thomas Noble about 1827, in Kildare, and they had at least four children in Ireland. She emigrated to New Zealand around 1860.
I would love to be able to find some more connection between Ethelinda and Loveda.
Regards, Linda Noble
