There appears to have been an L. M. Kilmister who wrote a book called "Farm mechanics' handbook : answers to problems in construction : maintenance and repair of farm buildings, machinery etc" and "Forgotten legions : a narrative of Gallipoli. Mesopotamia, India, Sinai and the Egyptian desert." (These are in some libraries in Saskatchewan).

Thanks for your help, however I had seen all of these earlier.
Some time ago I was in touch with the Library but they could not tell me what
L.M.  stood for.
best wishes.

Leslie Mould Kilmister was married to my Great Aunts sister Dorothy Watch and he died on September 11 1985. He was the person who wrote the books mentioned earlier. Hope this helps.

I have enclosed an attachment with obituary of Leslie and his wife in Canada.
