Hi Jayne

I have an Obadiah Mayer in my family tree but am not sure if it matches. It seems to as his middle name is Enoch and would be grateful for any help. My family are largely from Derby.

Many Thanks

Vincent

Hi Vincent
There were a couple of Obadiah Mayers born in that area at the time, my one had a son called Samuel Mayer who was a china manufacturer and he died in Bloomsbury London but he was born in the Derby area, Samuel had a sons called Enoch and George Henry and 5 sisters, Samuels wife was called mary Lees married 1811, I hope this helps
