I am researching my ancestors - the Tustins, who lived in Worcestershire / Warwickshire in 1760s onwards. my 4x Great Grandfatehr was born in 1767 and married in 1806, possibly in Birmingham. The girl he married was 14 / 15 when they married. I know that lots of marriages happened very young then, but is this likely? he would have been 38 so there is a BIG age difference. I have searched for other marriages for a susanna to a someone else Tustin, but it seems like quite an unusual surname then and nothing else seems to ahve turned up. He died in 1831, having fathered 9 children - he was tired I think!!!
It just doesn't all stacc up quite properly, but maybe I am just being a bit conventional
any advice would be greatly recieved
cheers
Calm
