COLES of Publow, can you help?

We've only been doing my husbands family tree for a while, but have come across a couple of others doing family trees for other families in the same small village who have given us info which we have assumed to be correct and added into our tree. We now have two sets of info both of which completely contradict each other as to who was the brother and father of who!

We are able to look up all census returns from 1871 to 1901 online, but the queries all need resolution pre 1871.

The family in question is COLES, all living in Publow, Woollard and Pensford in Somerset.

We would really appreciate any census entries that can be found for the COLES family - all and any members - for any returns 1841, 1851 and 1861.

Its only a tiny village so there shoudln't be more than 2 or 3 families we think, but seeing who was living with who should help us sort out all of this confusion.

Thanks on advance for any info that can be provided.  I apprecaite this is a lot of work, but hopefully interesting to see how these families evolved.

have you any names birthdates etc for your coles in 1851 found lots of them in Somerset but they come from mainly Minehead andEvercreech and a few other areas but none you mention
