Hi, Is anyone else researching the FREEMAN family who came from Kirk Hammerton? If so please contact me and we can share info......

Hi It's a while since you posted this but I have quite a lot of information about the Freeman family from Kirk Hammerton and Hopperton  The farthest back I have got is Samuel b c1750 and  his son Michael b c1780 both direct ancestors of mine.  i have searched the graveyards in the area and th only stones are 1 in Kirk hammerton 1 in Stavely and 1 in Whixley

I have  a family tree with lots of information on the Kirk Hammerton  Freemans  Which branch are you interested in?  If you send me an e mail address I can contact you directly  I've only been on here a few times so I don't really know my way around the site - Linda

I may be repeating myself here as I'm not too familiar with this site but Ann, if you can send me an e mail contact we can work out which branch of the Freeman family we have in common and share our information 
My mother was a Freeman - Madge- James Edgar-Charles-Joseph-Michael-Samuel   I can't find Samuel's parents but he was born c1750  They all had quite large families and I have some information on siblings

Samuel Freeman c. 1750 was my 5x great grandfather. My line is Samuel, Michael, Thomas, Mary Jane Freeman born 1847 in York married William Scurr in 1869
