FARNHAM 1820s, Sudbury

I am trying to trace George Farnham from Sudbury, who subsequently moved to London.  He had a son Henry in around 1822/3, and more children subsequently in London, but I can find no record of them anywhere in the 1841 census.  I have found a christening record online in St Gregory's Sudbury, of Henry Farnham on 21 Sep 1823, with mother Elizabeth Farnham, but no father.  Does anyone know anything about the Farnhams at this time, or know where the St Gregory's archive is?  Am trying to find a record of a marriage for George (or any record of him at all!)

All info gratefully received.  Have run into a complete blank and it is driving me mad!

Unfortunately St Gregory's parish in Sudbury (also St Peter's)  was refused filming by the LDS by a former incumbent.

The PRs are available from 1838-1900 on 19 fiche at the three branches of the SRO ~ 1653 being on a roll of film.

There is a Suffolk Parish Records look up exchange at www.suffolk-surnames-list.co.uk and St Gregory's is one of the parishes covered.

Any archival material for Sudbury will be at the Bury St Edmunds branch of the suffolk Record Office.

This is really helpful information :D
Have contacted the volunteer for St Gregory's and have fingers crossed that something for George Farnham will emerge.  Am convinced that a whole family cannot have disappeared for 10 years!
