Jeremiah Connolly circa 1846
« on: Thursday 13 August 09 01:35 BST (UK) »
Hi, any info on my great great grandfather who I believe was born in Cork 1846. He came to South Wales and married Mary Donovan.

His father was John Connolly.
Thanks

Hi Adey
My Patrick Connolly b 1843, father also called Patrick left Cork and then settled in Merthyr Tydfil area. They must be cousins or related somewhere?

Hi Adey

My great-grandfather was Jeremiah Connolly who died in 1887 at the ironworks at The Forge - I guess that makes us related? I've been researching the 'tree' for some years and am only just now making some progress. I am not able to contact you through PM (as I'm new here??) but hope you can get back to me.

Cheers for now
