Support and updates are two separate issues, but updates are being supplied until 08-April-2014:-

True, but how many people actually contact Microsoft Support ?  Many are ineligible anyway, because they have OEM editions of Windows.

I am just hoping XP3 lasts for my lifetime!! Would hate to have to learn all the new stuff.
