There is no record of a John Taaffe dying in 1910 in Dublin

If Roseanna's father turns out to be James I would be very interested.  My wifes ancestor was Peter Kavanagh son of James, he was born in 1854 in Wicklow and married in Finglas Church on 07 Oct 1873, his wifes name was Rose Reilly.  The name Rose appears down thru the family.

Her fathers name was James but as yet have no info on him, other than he lived at 3 moore row in 1894 when rosanna and John married.

If you can make any connections with the Cabra/Finglas area we might have a match with the fathers name James, although your Rose would have been only about 3 when my Peter was married.

The Irish Times Handbook for the 1916 Uprising on Page 57 lists 250 persons who were interred at Glasnevin and has the following entry
                        Taaffe Rosanna (41)   26 Corporation Street
