Thomas is usually abbreviated to Thos, rather than Tom.  The names of my grandfather George Thomas always appeared as Geo Thos in census records.

I agree with Geo Wm with a rather long stroke between the two abbreviations.  Admittedly that stroke somewhat obliterates the W.  Maybe the enumerator was going to write George in full, but had to change this to include the second name.

Hi All

Look at Lottee below in in the list! O to TT there are two distinked different linking line 'O' to'T'and 'T' cross stroke.
Also Beatuce and other T's are a lot more straight horzontal cross strokes. Letter linking lines are more upward angles
