There is a wee history of the Lochaber MacLachlan's in "Bygone Lochaber!" by Somerled MacMillan 1971, printed by Davidson West George Street, Glasgow.  Very few in that district nowadays. Try online.

John Campbell was born in Kilmonivaig. (On 1851 census)
 I’ve been looking at the 1808 one father John, Kilmonivaig
1816 one father Donald (Achnacochin) Kilmonivaig.

I come from Ann Campbells line.
