ITV shot themselves in the foot when they hiked up their prices for subs that only lasted 6 months, I didn't renew and was asked for more money for less time when I wanted to join again which stopped me.

 If Brightsolid get their act together and improve the site (get rid of the useless 'Hot Matches') it could maybe live up to its potential.

The potential is there for Genes but ITV really ran it into the ground. Even though I still have my tree on it I have not paid to use it for a few years now as there was no way I was paying for just 6 months usage and I agree with madpants with regards top hotmatches which could be a useful tool if this was implemented correctly and not the random ones we seem to get know.

It will be interesting to see what Brightsolid decide to do with it....
