Failsafe
I would like your help please, my name is Thomas and I currently live in the USA I was born and raised in Manchester and moved here nearly 10 years ago, in May I am coming back to the UK for the 1st time in 10 years. Back in 2001 my Mum died and was buried with my Dad at Blackley cemetery I have the plot number but I need a map to find exactly where it is.
I would be most grateful if you could assist me with this, if you require any further information please email me here (*)
As there is a 5 hour time difference it would be difficult for me to be on-line at the same time as most of you guys
Thanks
Thomas

Hi
I don't suppose you have any cemetery maps for the Pendlebury or Barton upon Irwell cemeteries do you?  I don't know the Manchester area very well so I'm not sure if the places you listed would cover the area's I'm looking for.  If you don't have them could you suggest where I may be able to obtain them from please.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind Regards
Sarah ::)

well as you are asking for an area and not just one cemetery, i would suggest you start by looking on here first to try and identify which cemetery you are looking for?

I think maybe the church I am looking for is St John the Evangelist on Bolton Rd, Pendlebury.  Do you happen to have a Cemetery plot map for here?
Kind Regards
Sarah :)

Thanks Migky,
I'm back over in UK at Easter.  I think I'll try to make a trip to Manchester.  It's not too far from Mum's.
Cheers
Sarah ;)

Migky

Thanks for the map that wasn't what I wanted.. I thought your comment about using Google first was foolish, considering I found this group and no not by magic, I spent hours last night trying to find this information and I did not read previous posts nor replies on this subject.
What I wanted was a map showing where the plot numbers are, not a map showing where Blackely Cemetery is.
My Mother & Father are both C of E.
Think you could help me with that ?
Thanks
Thomas
