I awoke the other morning thinking about the Howards and considering to seek more info on Genes Reunited, but instead decided to just Google Catherine Howard's name and when I saw Roots Chat...I couldn't believe that correspondence was here on the same day I decided to check her out!

This is no relative of mine, but is my husbands step Grandma, his grandfather (Frederick Philpott 1901) remarrying a second time after his first wife (Edith Sharp 1898) died in 1925, possibly along with son Rowland.   I have found details which I believe are Catherines parents and gd.parents or have you found the info already.  

Please contact me if you want this info?

Hi Janut...like you it's not a relative of mine, it's a tree I am doing for a friend...

She is the grand daughter of Veronica Philpott.
Any info would be appreciated, she did mention step children of Frederick Philpott.

I have Catherine's parents as Albert b1876 Goole and Ellen Callaghan b1876 Goole.

I have their marriage as June 1/4 1898 Goole.
