Hi,
I do not live close to GRONI but several of us have access to other sources and are more than happy to do look-ups. If you tell us what you are looking for we will do our best to help.

Regards

I dont know if ive asked before....but thanks  ;D
Annie Moran nee;McClernon or McClernan
 dob? Father John, mother ?
Married William Moran 1872 in Moneymore ( i have the transcript of this )
children Francis, William, Sarah plus at least 1 other un named ? All Moneymore.
William died 1900 ( i have his will calendar entry)
Francis and William moved to Glasgow 1901ish, dont know about the others, ive been waiting on the 1901 and 1911 census to go online  for Derry ::)

So im really looking for Annies death after 1901 which will hopefully tell me her date of birth and mothers name. And if possible Williams death cert to give me the same info...his father was a John also.
I have been told by Derry Geoeology that the rcords are there but they are shut right now...

Mother's (or father's) names are not listed on Irish death certificates and exact birthdate will not be listed- just age in years. Index to civil registration can ne searched here (free)-

You have to order the death certificate to see all the details (although mother's name is listed it does not appear on the death certificate).

See here about ordering N.I. certificates-

Out of interest there is apparently an LDS FHC 10 minutes from me here in Spain...what would I expect to find there? is it just another way of searching their own site or can you access more information there or original documents? I wouldnt want to pluck up the courage to go just to find its what i can view in my own home at my leisure.

You would need to check with your local LDS branch but in general they might stock microfilmed records for their particular area/country and ou might find that any Irish records have to be ordered in. Years ago they used to have lots of microfiche in the branches (especially English church records) but not sure if that's still true.
