York East could mean East Yorkshire! However if it is the city of york then the most likely buriel place is the municipal cemetery on cemetery road! They have a web site and all their records are digitised. Some info can be accessed on the site other info can be ordered for a small fee. You can access the site through york.gov.uk or may be able to search for it on google.
Durcan/Durkin - Sligo to York, Sweeney (nee)Langhan Mayo to York. Mulhearn (spelling?)(nee Brogan) ?Ireland to York.
Bardy - weavers, North Yorkshire to York.
