Hi Willow,

Either you or I am looking at the wrong Brooks family. The one I have is at 1871 RG10; Piece: 3515; Folio: 14; Page: 22  where Ruben Brooks is with brothers and a father Henry.
Help us Phil  ;D

Hello again,

I just feel that the mother would not make up both names entirely but I suppose it is very possible. The name George Tabor does occur in several places and censuses.

I have looked at this site: http://www.wolverhamptonarchives.dial.pipex.com/pdf.files/elecregs.pdf

but it says that, if there are any electoral rolls for Wolverhampton for 1908, they are at Staffordshire Records.

It may be worth trying to find our who was at 51 Oak Street for 1908/09.

Can't think of much else - apart from googling for East Finchley records too.

Hello haywood and Willow 4873

Sorry about the Reuben/William....he dropped the Reuben from his name at the time of his marriage.
it was never used again...I didn't know him he but was always referred to as William and was the devil to find at birth and in the census's.
he had no sisters, so I was expecting the mother of Beryl to be a Coxon from his wifes family
Francis c 1857, Eliza c 1869 or Kate c 1871  or could it be she came via one of Williams brothers children?   more questions than answers at this stage.
I will try to find out more on Grace Chester b St Pancras 1881
Do you have the info on the rest of this family in 1891?

   Regards Phil

It's difficult with it being 1908 - you could do a 1911 address search for 8 Trinity Road East Finchley perhaps.

1901 RG13; Piece: 1234; Folio: 107; Page: 28

has a Wightman family living there who all seem to be born around the area.
However, there is a Mary Jackson b 1838 Nottingham there too- a monthly nurse. Could be a big red herring  ::) because she is 63 yrs and this is 7 years earlier.  :(

Hi Again

I will have to try to find more information on both address given on the Birth certificate,
to see if there is any relationship between the people actually living there and the names given.
As I live in Nottingham it may be a little while till I get the chance to visit the local area.

Once again many thanks for your help....and any Ideas you may have will be very much appreciated

Regards Phil
