My aunt is trying to find out if her father is still alive.

Since having my son I'm a little out of touch with the whole family history thing and haven't done any for quite some time, but she asked me to help her.

I would really appreicate any help.

His details are: Thomas Hughes, born Glasgow, Age now 87. Was a dispatch rider in the war in Black Watch. After war moved to 25 Tintern Road/Street, Chorlton Cum Hardy, Manchester, M20

Thats all the info we have.  First question we have of course is whether he is alive still or not.  I think she just wants to know if he is.

Ooo sorry!    Thats how out of touch I am, I should've reminded myself of the rules.  Thank you!  I really just wanted to know if there was a death record for him then that would've been the end of the search for me anyway.
