according to the IGI, in the Parish of Condover, William Evason (no middle name shown) was born 16th May, 1830 to a Benjamin & Hannah.

a marriage in the same Parish in June, 1829 indicates that Hannah was née Carter ...... so the Oliphant name may be an earlier generation, or perhaps on his Mum's family side ?

They got married in 8.8.1798 and had 2 sons

Benjamin Evason  bn: 18.4.1802? Condover  ( died 1882 )
