Just noticed your post.  Catherine Agnes Higgins was my Grandfather's Sister, he was William Patrick b. 6 Aug 1890 , d 4 Sept.1966.  I can remember hearing my Mother speak of her Aunty Kit so I presume that was your Mother.  Mum was Irene Bridget Higgins, she died 28 Aug 1994.  Do have some more info re Higgins tree if you need it.
