USA 12th Cavalry Query
« on: Monday 03 August 09 22:55 BST (UK) »
Hello from New Zealand
I have discovered my grandfather's brother belonged to the 12th Cavalry during World War One.
He is Thomas Millar Livingston born 16th March 1900 in Armagh, Northern Ireland.
Apparently he was based in Grant, New Mexico.
How can I find out any further information about this?  I'm fascinated that a young teenage lad can leave home and end up in New Mexico fighting as a US soldier!
Thanks for your time.
Leanne
