Extracted Probate for SICELL / COSSENS

Hello,

I have found the following extracted probate taken from the Probate Act in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury London.

Sicell, Captain William at the house of his sister Anne Cossens in Kinsale Co Cork Ireland July 18 1650. Admon w. will (180 Pembroke) Nov 7 to sister Anne Cossens dm son William N. E.

I am having trouble understanding the abbreviations and the legal terminology.

Such as "admon w." "dm" "N E"  "180 Pembroke".

Did Capt Sicell die on July 18 1650 in Ireland and his will which was made in England, is being proved on Nov 7.

I would be very appreciative if anyone could enlighten me on this text.

Without seeing the handwriting, it is hard to know whether the transcription is correct. Old handwriting can be hard to decipher.

I can help with 'Admon w will'

Letters of Adminstration (admon) are granted when someone dies intestate (without a will), but his will was attached.

The grant, usually to the next-of-kin, when the will did not specify any executors or if the executors were unable to act, or renounced, or had died. The will is then attached to the Admon Bond.
