Thomas Matson Kent England

I am searching for Thomas Matson.He was my ancestor. He was the father(out of wedlock) of Thomas Sims( my great grandfather), born Brabourne Kent 1815, Alice Simms was the mother. The only piece of information I have found on a Thomas Matson is in the 1841 Westwell Kent census, his age is given as 50 so that makes his dob 1791. The common link is between Thomas Sims's marriage certificate, where he states Thomas Matson was his father and his employment was Brewer and Maltster, and  the 1841 census,  where the employment of the Thomas Matson entered there was also a Maltster. I have checked all the parish records at Brabourne and Westwell but have drawn a blank, no mention of Thomas Matson. I would appreciate help on this one please.

Have you looked for a bastardy order?

There is a baptism on the Familysearch pilot for a Thomas MATSON at Kennington 14th July 1790, no parents listed  :-\
