Hi there, I am searching for my John Kelly who was born Calton and was a Cotton Carder.  Appears on the 1841 Census as age 60 years living in Linwood Village, Renfrew.   Could not locate him on an 1851 Census.  I was wondering if sks would be able to check Lanarkshire Obituaries/Death Notices and/or Renfrew Obituaries/Death Notices for me.

hi Beverley,
you mentioned your great great grandmother was elizabeth cullen of 43 market st Calton in Glasgow, and her parents were elizabeth and james cullen.
I have an ancestor, William Walker, who was living at 43 Market St Calton in 1901 Census. His mother was Jessie Cullen who lived and died in Calton. Her sister was Elizabeth, born c1859, with parents of James Cullen and Jane Bulloch. Please let me know if this information indicates a link beween our ancestors. I am researching this family from afar as one of Jessie Cullen's family of grandchildren spread across the UK and to Australia and the USA in the 1920s and 1930s.

Hi Michelle,
Did you ever resolve your obituary notices for Janet Cullen and John McPherson Campbell? I had a look and found both of these, but none of the others. You can search the Glasgow herald for free.
