Photo attachment problem
« on: Thursday 30 July 09 10:30 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to attach a photo to my message but when I click on the 'Attach a photograph or image...' the 'Attach' and 'Browse' lline doesn't appear, only the three little boxes and options above that line. Does anyone know how to rectify this?

Hi researchrobin  :)

It's probably to do with the board you're trying to post on - some of them don't allow attachments.  Which board were you using?

Hi Prue!

It's a reply on the Shropshire Lookup Requests - perhaps that board won't let me - I'll have a look. Thanks for your help.

It isn't possible to attach photos or other images on the Look-up requests boards.  This is mainly to prevent the posting of copyright stuff.  Sorry.

Hi Robin  :)

The best thing to do would be to send the person a PM (personal message) and ask for their email address, then email the photo to them.
You can send a PM by clicking on the person's name where it appears on the board - this will take  you to their profile page and there will be an option to "send this person a PM".

Hope that helps

Cheers
