my grandfather was i nRoyal huzzars clavary regiment ww2
my dad can remeber him coming home during war on leave. He was born in barrow on furnance but lived in Belfast his name is Henry patrick Smith

Was he 8th (Kings Royal Irish) Hussars??

i dont know I  only know it was Hussars and horse or clavary regiment
