Hi there ... My name is Lauren Wood and Annie Raphaela Tunstra De Luca was my great grandmother, I know one of her sisters was Lucia, and there was Domenica (Dora) and there were numerous brothers (Jack, Trevor, Francesco father to my auntie Pat my late grandmothers cousin).  I have a copy of the family tree somewhere if you are interested

Hi Malcolm

I got your message and I can give you as much detail as I can.  Luigi De Luca (Villa Latina, Lazio, Italy) married Jane Elizabeth Ellen Dean (Brighouse).  Luigi was the youngest of four children.  Anunziata (aka Nancy), Antonio who died in 1944 and Carmine who died in 1976.  His parents were Pasquale De Luca and Domenica Franchi (Cassino, Lazio).  Luigi and Jane had a few children; my great grandmother was the eldest Annie Raphaela Tunstra, Francesco, Jack, Lucia (Lucy), Domenica (Dora) and a few more lol I can't remember all names as they are on my family tree at home, in all there are over 100 descendants of theirs

Hi,
Not sure if this is still of any help but Luigi De Luca was my great grandfather and his son, Francesco was my grandfather. His second wife (my grandmother) was Marie Melvin. Francesco moved to Workington, Cumbria and i think worked in the steel industry there before becoming a pub landlord. I believe his first pub was The Dolphin, a dockside pub now long gone and his last was The Miner's Arms which still exists on Guard Street. He had two daughters from his second marriage, Maureen and Francesca (my mother) who sadly died in 1980. Francesco (Frank to his mates) and Marie moved back to Halifax in the early 70s. Frank died in 1972. There's more indepth information listed on the Hindle family tree at familytreemaker.genealogy.com (a search for Luigi De Luca comes up pretty near the top of a google search).
Hope this helps fill some gaps !
