I am so pleased to hear from you.  My grandfather was John McLean who was son of Archibald and Elizabeth born 1875.  I do not have much information about Archibald, only what I could find through Births/Deaths/Marriages so anything you can give me will be great.  Do you know when he came to Australia?  etc etc

Thank you from Helke - not sure how to do personal message as I am happy to give you my email address to contact me direct

I am trying to find out more about the lives and family of Alexander and Mary McLean whilst at the Bethungra Waterworks.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,

Alexander and Mary are my grandfather's parents. Unfortunately I don't have much information on them (but I do have the details of all their children and some grandchildren), but I'm more than happy to share the information and family anecdotes I do have.

Once you've made 3 posts you'll be able to PM.

Chantelle

Alexander McLean's brother John (1875-1953) was my grandfather.  I really don't know anything about their work at the Waterworks, I thought they lived at property Bethungra Park.  I have a list of their children, plus list of siblings families, if you don't have.  Let me know if you want.
