FOR INFORMATION ONLY

There is a previous post that has a lot of info - so to avoid any duplicated efforts it is worth looking at it first

hi chatters   i know not everyone has faith in the naming patterns but it is a place to start.  if you have the childrens names and there are no large gaps in the birth years try finding your peter through the name of his first born son and second born daughter.  it might help.   beans

Gooday Beans,
thankyou, your suggestion was very productive. After much searching both SP and IGI and a lot of thinking I believe that this Peter is the one i was after. Also managed to trace back another 2 generations, admittedly using; i think one of your suggestions..re following family names. Until i see better i believe these are right. I have utilized a map to locate places and measured the distances to see if it would be viable to walk them etc.
Thank you Ross

Hi Jacci,
Thank you for the info on Peter Beveridge, your info like that of "Beans' certainly took me on a merry chase which was i believe fruitful.
I did find Peter and Helen's children by searching SP and IGI.
