COMPLETED look up - Hugh McKINLEY born 1816 Ireland Died ??? NSW Australia

can any one help me find information on my 3 x Great Grandfather?

I know that he was born around 1816 in Antrim Ireland and arrive in Australia in 1830 aboard the 'Hercules'. He married Margaret Flanagan (year not known) and had at least 4 children (Frederick William, Patrick, Mary and Michael).

Any more information would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing shows up on the NSW BDMs website for the marriage ... and the only death that comes up is for a William H McKinley, Sydney 1890, mother Alice.

Someone else might have a more comprehensive record available to them, though

Patrick   b 1847

There is 1 death i see Hugh McKinley...died 1923 in TOCUMWAL

Also not sure if it is related...there is 3 deaths of the children

All to parents Margaret and Hugh McKinley

Frederick died 1930 in GOULBURN

Michael died 1930 in YASS

Mary E died 1920 in  HOLBROOK

Would probably need to get a cert to check if they are yours....

I had tried the NSW BDM website but there did not seem to be a match close for Goulburn NSW where the Family farm was. Possible though that they did move away leaving the farm to the sons.

The Tocumwal death looks to be too old.

I might try tracking the Convct records through NSW and Dublin Ireland to see if Hugh had another name.
