TRENEMAN
« on: Sunday 26 July 09 10:29 BST (UK) »
Looking for information on my great grandmother Amy Lizzie Marie Treneman. I know that she was born in Pancras, London in 1860 and that she married Reuben Huett in Wallingford, Berks in 1881. However, I cannot find any information about her inbetween these two events - no census records for her or her family. Anyone got any ideas or information about the family? Many thanks

Welcome to RootsChat Lisa  :)

Do you have access to the censuses? The 1861 census reference for the family is RG9 piece 67, folio 65 page 19. The surname looks like Freneman on the census page.

Let me know if you need a transcription

Then in 1871 she's at RG10/1289 63 12, census place Sunning, Berkshire. I'm afraid her dad dies later that year  :(

Still searching for 1881.

Just in case you were searching for the family in 1891, they're at RG12/981 42 12

Tati - thank you for this - I have the Huett's history but it was the Trenemans I was stuck on. I only discovered this site yesterday and your help has been invaluable in getting past the brickwall I have had for a while now. Many thanks

Hi I am trying to find history on Alfred Huett who moved from India to New Zealand. Are they part of your family tree? If they are I would love to swap notes.

Hi Leanne
I am afraid that I don't have any Alfred Huetts in my tree, despite several Huetts that emigrated. Were any of his family/ relations from the Deptford area as there may be a link in there somewhere?
Regards
