Susan RICKARD b circa 1828

On the 1841 census, Susan was living in the Civil Parish of St. Enoder at Summercourt.   At the time of the census, she was recorded as being 13 years of age and no occupation was recorded.   At the same address was, inter alia, her mother, Susan (age 40) with an occupation initially recorded as wife of miner but it was crossed out.   By the 1851 census Susan (1828) was recorded as an engineer's daughter.

I was wondering if you could please identify Susan's father, her mother's maiden name and where they married.

Hello Peter,

Couldn't find Susan Rickard's baptism, but after having looked at the 1841 census, I see she had an elder brother, Joseph.

The Cornwall OPC site has a possible baptism entry for Joseph - St Enoder 1825 - have a look - http://www.cornwall-opc-database.org/moreinfo.php?ID=136564&dbtype=baptisms

Then if you search on the marriages there's an entry for a marriage between a Joseph Rickard and Susan Huddy in 1824, St Enoder.
