We do not have any photos at all, though I suspect Bathurst gaol records may have one. Those records are help at NSW SRO and Kingswood which is miles from anywhere
I was surprised that Francis was not mentioned in the notes for Peters funeral, perhaps they became estranged. Francis seems a pretty free wheeling character and it's possible he did not like the fact that Peter became a Policeman and then a Prison Warder.
Most of Peter and Catherines' children were male and I find that generally the females are the best keepers of family histories. When I started, Caths mum had a heap of info on her ancestors but no one know anything about the Smith line
