Hi Everyone
I'm hoping someone can help me, i am looking for the parents of Rebecca Taylor born in Surfleet and baptised on the 1.3.1829 in Surfleet. We ordered her marriage certificate but it only gave us her father who was Edward Taylor. Her death cert. does not give us any parental details. We are trying to confirm who her mother was. At this stage we have a possible Susannah Clark but are not sure we have the correct one. Our Rebecca went on to marry Thomas Dutton in Horncastle at the Independant Chapel in 1860. It's difficult over here in Australia to get the parish records especially online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

An Edward Taylor married a Susanna Clark 16 October 1826 in Surfleet.

FreeREG also have Rebecca's baptism which says her parents were Edward and Susan. Although Taylor is a fairly common name, I would think the likelihood of the Taylor/Clark marriage producing Rebecca is quite high.

These 2 might fit.
Edward Taylor died 19/2/1871 Surfleet Risegate age 66.
Susan Taylor died 21/1/1882 Surfleet age 76.
