Hi Sally,
I can't believe this! My Grandfather was Henry Mckinnon Marshall, My Father was John Roden Marshall (Born Lochore). My half brother is John Crawford Marshall (Born Glasgow).
I have searched for some connection with my family for some time now but with no luck, you are the first connection I have had with the Scottish side of my family, I do hope you will respond to me.

With kind regards,
Rod

Sally,
Brilliant! But I am so sorry I do not know how to reply to your reply! If you can guess what I mean. (I'm a bit of a Neanderthal in respect to computers! Does this message go straight to you or is it shared with the rest of the universe?)

If it is would you please try sending me a message on.......I will then send you my usual e-mail address, phone number and postal address so that we can have a chat and I can swap life stories with you.

One question puzzling me is how was your Dad called "Henry Mckinnon"? I have not come across his name in my searches?

Bloody hell! I can't believe it! You Have Made My Day! :)
Rod

Information removed due to copyright violation. See http://www.rootschat.com/forum/copyright.php for more details

RootsChat must deal with any breach of copyright by its members.

For some time the team of Copyright Editors has been removing breaches of copyright and sending detailed personal messages to the member that had posted the information.  Due to the volume of posts and members this is now impractical.  Messages in breach will simply be deleted and this notice posted.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused but are sure you will appreciate the importance of this issue.

However he is not listed on Slateford Memorial either.

The Memorial at his place of birth doesn't help either.

Hi Buzancy 18

You mentioned being the author of a Balerno, Currie and Juniper Green memorial book. Can you give a bit more information about that, please?  Is it available to buy?

Rhoda
