Hi
I am looking for further information on Emma Kinton, b. 5 Nov 1791, Farleigh, d. 17 Feb 1879, Grahamstown, Eastern Cape, South Africa.

I know she married Joseph Weakley (1790 - 1863), and they were part of 1820 Settlers to South Africa.

Info on parents and siblings would be nice.

Hi Kevin, please confirm she was born in Monkton Farleigh, Wiltshire.

I could not find a baptism or marriage record for Emma Kinton/Keinton in Monkton Farleigh.

Sorry for the delay. I can't confirm which "Farleigh" but I do know she lived in Frome prior to going to the Cape.

Hi,
   Could it have been Farleigh Hungerford which is just out side Trowbridge and a few miles from Frome Somerset.
