No sign of Horace, Richard or Sarah in 1901 wales census, BUT a free search of the 1911 census shows Horace Purchase Haggett living in Newport...could Richard jr have been registered as Horace? Does happen

A search for Richard Haggett in 1911 shows one, living in Hereford age 39 birth yr 1872??
A few Sarah Haggetts, i presume you know what yr she was born, could narrow her down.

Hi

I think I have found Sarah and young Richard in the 1901 census at Sarah's parents John & Emily PUGSLEY 16 Rudrey St, Newport. Sarah & Richards surname has been transcribed as THANGETTIE.

1901 Census Wales RG13 Piece 4960 Folio 150 Pages 7 and 8

It does need checking further such as confirming Sarah's fathers name from the marriage certificate.

Looking on FreeBMD for births in Newport first name Richard (leaving surname blank) didn't show any possibles but then I couldn't find 2 other grandsons on the census, Charles & Edward PUGSLEY.
