Trench Cartoon (Mametz 1916)

Hi - Anyone know where I could find information on this cartoonist (whose name I can't quite make out - bottom right of cartoon)?  The gentleman on the right is my great grandfather - Royal Welch Fusiliers/Machine Gun Corps - whose photo is my profile pic.

The cartoon is initialled HLR 1916 France.  If the artist was an officer it might be possible to find his name in an Army List of around that period, listed under the RWF, otherwise difficult.
