Info to Accessing a 1948 Will in Victoria
http://www.prov.vic.gov.au/access/probate.asp
PROV do not provide a copying service.  You would either have to engage an agent or have someone search for the Index number and then they visit the rooms and view the will.

It may be doubtful if there was  a Will to be probated as her husband didn't die until 1959....unless of course she had assets in her name.

There is excellent information on death certificates in Victoria including the names of children both living and deceased.
You can purchase an image of the registration online and immediately download for AUD$17.50 from
https://online.justice.vic.gov.au/bdm/index-search?action=purchaseImage

I found this passenger record

Miss C CAIN aged 22 years of 20 Latham Street, Kirkdale, Liverpool departed Liverpool 28 July 1923 on the Runic for Sydney but Miss C CAIN disembarked Melbourne.

Their marriage cert would give you the actual date in 1923 your Catherine and Francis married.

Thank you cando,
Can i have an opinion on this theory,  catherine cain i know went from liverpool to australia in 1923 july i think, she married Francis De La coeur sept 1923, i know of a little story about that very romantic,
A friend has suggested that catherine cain found herself pregnant in 1921 [ not to francis ] but to a manxman, came over to the isle to have her baby in the poor house[ we know catherine was in poorhouse in Nov 1921 and had her baby in late dec 1921 ] and  gave her baby up, went back to liverpool 1922, i have thought to myself could this be the case, but i am told that the baby [ my dad ] was given in 1926/7 to a certain family in which i wont name on here, so leaves the big question, where was he between 1921 and 1927, we have searched all the island for a catherine cain who would be born 1899 to 1901 and can only find about two  one married later and the other no sign of her any where no marriage , no death, her father died 1902 , her mother 1929
