Hello Sancti,

 I can't find any of your first lot, but among the second I have Wm Young (b c1816 Avondale) and wife Euphemia Leiper (b 1823 at Drumboy and christened in Avondale). I have no death dates, but William was still alive, age 85, and living as a retired farmer at Hill farm in Avondale, in 1901. Euphemia was alive in 1871 but I haven't checked '81 or '91. Are there any dates or other info legible on the stone?
 I can't seem to get the right pairings for the other names.

Erected by William Young of Hill, Avondale and Euphemia Leiper his wife in memory of  Euphemia Young their daughter who died 22 Feb 1879 aged 20 yrs
Helen Young their daughter who died 31 Jan 1899 aged 33 yrs
The above William Young who died 9 May 1901 aged 85 years
Also the above Euphemia Leiper who died 1 Feb 1911 aged 88 years

 I have emailed you with my email address. Those names and dates tie up very well, I had forgotten to say that they got married in Avondale in 1845 so that ties up too.
 I'll have a look at the other names and see if I think any of my people might fit them and being buried in Avondale. I may be back in touch in a few days.

I realize this chain is over a year old, but I'm hoping someone may be able to verify the information provided earlier. @ Pointer, you mentioned that you had information on Craigs and Jamiesons. I am looking for information on Agnes Craig, daughter of William Craig and Janet Jaimeson who marries Matthew Fowlds in August 1846.  Is the Agnes listed earlier as b. 1800 the same Agnes??

In the book: Matthew Fowlds Centenarian Weaver, it lists her and her parents living at Holmes Farm near Strathaven.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to find the connection between her and Andrew Craig who marries Martha Fowlds in Fenwick in December 1841.

According to my records, John Craig, who died on the 28/08/1881 married Christina Jamieson on the 16/04/1842 in Avondale. She died 21/10/1888.
